I am going to start with the most visited place from me here in Amsterdam, The White label coffee roastery. And it s the most visited one not because is the only one, of course, but because is very close to my house. Thank god are a lot of places out there to taste fresh specialty coffee. White label is of course one of them and I really enjoy every time I visit it. They use mostly beans from Kenya, Colombia and Ethiopia. They have a long menu of filter and espresso coffees. The baristas are always friendly, smiley and able to serve high quality coffee beverages. You have to give your order at the bar and if the coffee is not for take away, can be also served. Alongside with the high quality coffee beverages you can taste two types of fresh made tea’s and a small range of cakes, croissants, cookies and pies. The apple pie, the cookies and the two types of cakes are always delicious and hand made in house. On the selves of the left wall next to the entrance are always available bags with fresh roasted beans of different kinds to go.Also you can buy a limited number of aeropress, chemex, filters, cups etc..
White label is growing very fast at the coffee business. They are roasting coffee already for a lot of coffee places in Holland ( coffee&coconuts,de school, huiskamer rembrandtpark and more…) and recently they went outside the borders giving coffee to a really good coffee place in Prague. The Coffee room , check it out. I hope I’ll be able to visit it soon.
I highly recommend this place for good coffee in a very friendly atmosphere, pet friendly, minimal decorated and very social environment.
As I already said you can taste White Label coffee also in other coffee places in Amsterdam which i am going to review soon.
